If there is a God, why would he (or she) be so obsessed with being worshipped? with being prayed at, day in, day out; with being obeyed, and adored: with sacrifices, rituals and forgiveness?
I just don’t get it. Why would a deity be that needy and insecure? Egotistical, bordering on megalomaniacal?

Almost all modern religious dogma require this kind of “obediance”. Whether it be praying, wearing a special hat, burning incence or any other of a multitude of
pre-requisites, the principal always remains the same – obediance.
God has no need for anything.
Being uncreated, He is in a state of complete satisfaction.
Human beings are in a constant state of prayer, worship and adoration.
Ordering our natural to state to God, the Creator is how human beings pursuit true happiness.
